Hello and Welcome:

Thank you for your interest in the School of Allied Health Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.  The Allied Health Welcome Center is your “one-stop-shop” for allied health information.  It is our goal to increase your awareness of allied health professions and the nine programs we offer.  We strive to reply to your e-mails and phone calls the same day or the next business day, however, nature of the inquiry, research, or contact with departments may necessitate a longer wait.  We apologize for any longer delay you may encounter for extenuating circumstances on our part.   Since we do unofficial evaluations for all the 9 programs in Allied Health, we do request that you allow a 2 to 3 week turnaround. As a norm, your wait will not be that lengthy.  Whether you are a prospective student, applicant, parent, or advisor, your questions or request will be handled in the most expeditious manner as possible. 

Academic Counseling Appointments

We invite you to call or e-mail to set up an appointment for academic counseling. Our appointment schedule runs from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Unofficial Evaluations (Please allow a 2-3 week turnaround)

If you would like to request an unofficial evaluation for a particular program

Send copies of your transcripts (not official) by fax or e-mail

Add a fax cover sheet or a note to your e-mail stating which program you wish an unofficial evaluation for

Tell us what college(s) the transcripts are from? (Sometimes it is not noted)
